To the Beautiful Mama,
Congratulations, Mama. Allah has chosen you from all of creation to carry this sacred trust. Long before the stars were placed in the sky, before the oceans met the shore, He wrote this soul into your womb, choosing you as their place of safety, their first home, their source of love.
And what a mercy that He placed them there, in the rahm, the very space that shares its root with Ar-Rahman, The Most Merciful. No wonder the womb is a sanctuary of safety, warmth, and love, a reflection of His infinite compassion. Within you, Allah is shaping a soul with His perfect wisdom, sustaining it with His care, and entrusting it to you with His divine grace.
Though beautiful, I know this journey is not always easy. Some days, the weight feels heavy. Some nights, sleep drifts just beyond reach. Some moments, doubt whispers. But listen closely. Within you, a miracle grows. And with you, always, is Allah.
You are never alone. Not in the quiet of the night, not in the depths of exhaustion, not in the waves of emotion that rise and fall like the tide. Your Lord is near, closer than your heartbeat, nearer than your very breath. He sees you. He hears you. And He has promised you that for every ache, for every sacrifice, there is reward beyond measure.
When the journey feels long, breathe. Inhale His mercy. Exhale every fear. Just as He provided water for Hajar in the desert and strengthened Maryam in her solitude, He is carrying you now, guiding you with wisdom, surrounding you with love, sustaining you with strength you may not yet see, but that is already within you.
Your patience is worship. Your every whispered du'a is heard. Your body, designed by the Most Wise, knows exactly how to cradle, nourish, and birth your baby. Trust in His plan, for He has already written a perfect moment for your child's first breath.
And when that moment arrives, when you finally hold this tiny miracle in your arms, when their warmth melts into yours and their eyes search for the one they have always known, you, you will understand why Allah describes our children as the coolness of our eyes. (Qur'an 25:74)
Soon, Mama. Soon. The waiting, the patience, the prayers, all of it is leading to that first cry, that first touch, that first overwhelming wave of love so pure, it mirrors a fraction of Allah's mercy.
Until then, let your heart rest in Him. Let your soul be soothed by the remembrance of Ar-Rahman, the Most Compassionate.
And in the quiet moments, when you place your hands over your belly and feel the life stirring within you, let your words be a refuge, just as your womb is. Speak gently to your child and to yourself. Let your prayers rise, let gratitude fill you, let dhikr settle into the rhythm of your breath. These moments, these words, these reflections, they are all part of the sacred unfolding of motherhood.

"And We have enjoined upon man [care] for his parents. His mother carried him, [increasing her] in weakness upon weakness, and his weaning is in two years. Be grateful to Me and to your parents; to Me is the [final] destination."
Qur'an 31:14
So you see, you are not just carrying a baby. You are nurturing a soul that will one day stand before Allah. When you read this, know that I am praying for you and your baby.
With every moment, every heartbeat, you are drawing nearer, not only to your child, but to your Creator.
May Allah bless you with ease, enfold you in His peace, and make this child a source of endless joy, righteousness, and light in this life and the next. Ameen.
You were chosen for this. And He who chose you will not leave you.
With all my love, prayers, and admiration,
The Calm Mama Co
